NRA Rifle Instructor Needed

I have a co-worker that leads a Boy Scout group that needs a NRA rifle instructor that can that can help with the rifle badge. If you can help please send me a PM with your name & number so he can get in contact with you.

I used to be the shooting sports director for Pikes Peak Council. As a result I can tell you some things.

Any instructor will not do. For the merit badge the instructor must be a merit badge counselor. Otherwise there is nobody to sign off on the blue card. If the blue card is not signed off by a registered merit badge counselor it won't work / count.

Have him contact the council office on Fillmore. Ask them to relay a message to Richard Evans. He took over my job when I left there. He can supply you with a list of certified merit badge counselors who can help out. He can also sign up for the Buffalo Bill Shootoff day. There will be an opportunity to shoot then also.

If he needs more, have him get with Richard. If Richard is slow getting back to him, have him shoot me an email.
