    Default Armed Security Shooting

Not sure if this is a dupe, searched for it and don't recall seeing it in any previous threads. This is a good example of being aware of your surroundings, reacting fast, quality training and practice. This guy was on his "A" game and his OODA loop was in perfect harmony with the situation at hand.

Sucked to be a bad guy that day. This should be in the training forum as I think this shows the effects of good training and to always be on the ready. Like they mentioned in the video that security guard may sit for hours but when it came time his instincts kicked in and the good guys prevailed this time.

I'm glad the guard is OK.

Wait, are you telling me that you found no media coverage of this anywhere? I don't believe it. /sarcasm

Surprised he was so well trained. Good for that guy thought about starting an armed security company before I go into the line trade... Somedays I wish I would have!!!

First saw that video several months ago, but I'll agree, this guy was on top of things. I'd certainly pat him on the back.

I can only hope that I'll have as fast of a reaction as he did.

Notice how he also uses his desk for concealment? That's situational awareness right there!
