Default reputable source for replacement laptop screen

So my daughter just handed me the laptop and it appears to have a good sized ink stain on the screen. It isn't ink, she cracked the screen somehow, won't fess up. Anyway I just googled how to replace the screen, doesn't seem too tough. Can any of you computer gurus recommend a reputable company to buy a replacement screen from?

I bought one from eBay years ago for an old IBM ThinkPad. It broke in shipping and the seller took care of me with a replacement for the replacement.

I always get that stuff on fleaBay. If you search the model number, you can usually find genuine OEM screens pretty reasonable. Example: My old laptop needed a motherboard. It was 325 from Dell, I got a genuine one on eBay for 94 bucks shipped...

New egg or TigerDirect, If it were me I'd find a 300 dollar laptop or hit up ebay for a parts machine. One time I found an exact model and just switched the hard-drive.

I used a guy on Colfax and Pierce, A long way from Thornton, but there are guys all over doing this kind of repair
$100 for screen and $100 to install
The frame around the screen can be fiddly, but with patience and care you could do this at home

I never use Ebay, but I'll look into it along with TigerDirect. I did watch a video on replacing the screen, doesn't appear to be too tough so I'm willing to give it a go.

I've had good experiences with Action PC on Colorado (just south of Yale, next to the Sprouts) if you want someone else to do the handson.
