Saw a new show come on the tube today, at least new to me - never seen it before. Starring Rich Wyatt from Gunsmoke and Will Whats-his-name from Sons of Guns. Sweet Jesus.

The premise, I think, was something about guns of historic gunfights, or some such shit. I changed the channel immediately, wasn't about to watch that pair of idiots. So be warned, I think it was on The Military Channel.

Makes sense -- sort of. The Military Channel is run by Discovery, the same fine folks who gave us "Moonshiners", "Fast n' Loud", "Tree House Masters", and "Dude, You're Screwed". They should merge with A&E Networks, who think Ancient Aliens and Monster Quest are History and Real Sluts of <name the city> deserves a "Bravo" ... nevermind their most recent foot-in-mouth actions with some rednecks from Loozeyanna.

I caught part of one episode, like long enough to taste a little bile, and switched to Fox News. I read somewhere that neither one of these guys actually owns the shops that they supposedly represent? Anybody know for sure?

Can't say for Will Hayden (who a friend of mine has gone shooting with down in LA a few times), but Rich doesn't actually own Gunsmoke... That much I know. Not sure who does actually, might be the IRS???? Too soon?

I heard the same about Hayden too, that either someone else owns the place or the FFL it operates under. Don't know if it's fact.

As far as I knew Will's place was owned by that gunsmith that he "fired." (can't remember the name).
