An Afghan girl -- reportedly only 8 years old -- was detained in southern Afghanistan for wearing a suicide vest.Authorities stopped the girl Sunday night as she approached border police in Helmand province, according to a BBC report.
The girl is believed to be the sister of a prominent Taliban commander who encouraged her to carry out the bombing, an Interior Ministry spokesman told the BBC.

We're (sort of) trying to fight a war against a tactic (Global War on Terror) that is seen as a perfectly viable option by most of the people opposing us because of the capability discrepancy. While we're doing this we're also trying to engage in "nation building"... maybe it's so the world won't think we're militant ass holes, maybe it's because there are billions of dollars to be made.
