    Default Dillon local?

Anybody know where you can buy Dillon presses in CO? I am leaning towards a 650 at this point. MR. Magoo said elk bomb in Milliken has 550's on order. Anybody else know where you can buy them? I can order but I would prefer to buy local if possible, maybe as far south as the springs, but prefer Denver or north due to gas mileage haha.

Yeap, go to Elk Bomb, they'll hook you up. Even if you order, they'll save you the shipping costs, but you'll pay sales tax too of course. The benefit is they are great people to deal with and they are relatively close to you.

NO Sales TAX on Dillon (only) products. They couldn't remain competitive with other dillon vendors, if they did.

What ever dillon catalog and website show is what a dillon machine goes for. Everyone who sells them ,does for dillons listed price. One vendor may offer free shipping, OR throw in some perks, but the dillon price for OTD is dillon price ~ a few dollars. The most i have seen price variation wise was $12. Not counting CL, Armslist, GB and Ebay.

Here's a 650, add what you want and see the price.
The format / paste came out crappy, But this gives you an idea what cost is. I only included the 650, case feed, case gauge, strong mount

I'm in the market for a 650 as soon as I get a workbench built and some room in the basement set up - and even dealer discounts on dillon aren't very big.

If you are concerned about ordering from Dillon, I ordered my Dillon 1050 4 days ago and it is scheduled to be delivered today. We don't have anyone down here that carries them, which is why I always order from them.

Good to know thanks. The web site said 5-7 days to ship, then shipping time.

That's due to the demand of reloading items across the board. In 13 it was a 6 week wait. If Dillon said 3-5 business days and the press didn't arrive on time some folks would be upset, to say the least. Having that extra time frame is good business.

EB opens @ noon, drop in and browse. The owners are OOT till monday? but the help can sell you the same press for the same price. Stop by the house today and see which press best fits your needs.
