Does he actually think it will mean anything? All that will be accomplished is to increase NRA publicity, and create a lot of new members

Take a look at their movie history. There are more than a few shootem-ups. I guess it's okay to make movies/money glorifying firearms but...

Streep proved she was a moonbat twit years ago when she testified before Congress on the Alar scare (don't get me going on the stupid idiot who thought an actress qualified as an expert witness for a Congressional investigation into agricultural products). I've never liked her roles anyway and her name is one that makes me pause before going to a movie. Weinstein isn't quite Michael Moore but I have to really want to see a particular movie to go to it if produced by the Weinstein Group (well, really any movie out there these days).
Let them make fools of themselves, stupid twits deserve to lose money.
