Troll is definitely right on the mark about the fact that all of the latest violent activity with guns this past week is HUGE ammo for the anti's.

The guy in Pittsburgh who killed 3 police officers is said to have intentionally stated the domestic with his mom to draw the officers to his home just so he could kill them. Something I heard on the news just after it occured is that he was afraid that Obama is going to take all of our guns - so then he kills cops to stop this from happening? What a loon!

The media will always hype things like the Pittsburgh guy, the Binghamton Civic Assoc guy who killed 14 people, the father who killed his 5 kids, and the four Oakland police officers who were killed (by someone who legally couldn't have a gun). And now we have someone threatening "sniper" actions against politicians?

These are just events from the last few weeks. Before the events that began at the end of last week there was already talk of strengthening gun laws (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/articl...BAVF16LQ9U.DTL) in response to the Oakland police officer killings. The perp wasn't even legally allowed to possess a gun - putting him in violations of how many laws already? and they want MORE laws?

While I can't imagine any way we can police our own people to prevent these attacks, we can point out to our politicians that the tragedy in Oakland couldn't have been prevented with more laws. Let them know that supporting concealed carry laws could (potentially) have prevented the Binghamton massacre.

I don't know what I'm blabbering on about, I'm just very frustrated about recent events.

Told my wife in November right after the election- "wonder what they will come up with next year to try and sell more gun control- they dont have the crime prob like back in the early 90's that helped get that stupid ASW ban passed". Then these bunch a retards pop up in a couple of weeks? Common- whats up?
