Dino/Tim: Thanks. Appreciate the invite. That the one down in Pueblo? 22LR at 200 yards. Sounds like indirect fire using a 45-70.

Didn't think about a fixed power scope but makes a lot of sense given the likely ranges. A SS 16x might just be the answer.

Particularly like the link to the scope mount. I've heard of DIP and expect I'll be spending some time and money on their site.
