Couple drops of Hydrogen Peroxide, let bubble, rinse with a bulb syringe using tepid water. Do NOT direct stream straight into ear canal, bounce it off the side like you're shooting pool and it will flush out that nasty plug. Takes a few tries for me but the difference is astounding.
