    Default Phone and plan recommendations?

Coming off contract from Sprint with an iPhone 4s. Don't care if I stay on iPhone, but do want a smartphone with webbrowsing and apps, and would like 4G LTE speeds. Any experience with moving an iPhone to the walmart service, or other less-expensive options?

I don't call a lot or text a lot, but do like the convenience of cell data when no wifi is around. Prepaid has been ideal for me for calling plans in the past, but data options for those were shitty when I got into the contract.

Depends on how nice of a phone you want but...

    Motorola Moto G - $200 16GB

    OR

    LG Nexus 5 - $350 16GB

    +

T-Mobile $30 per Month - Unlimited web and text with 100 minutes

I went from a $100 monthly bill with a $200 phone from Verizon to a $30 monthly bill and $350 phone with T-Mobile. It's saving me about $700 a year. The data speeds in Greeley are comparable or better than Verizon and I have no need for more than 100 minutes per month. It's the best decision I've made in a long time.

I would flush any Motorola phone down the toilet after my horrible experience with the RAZR-M

I like my Galaxy S4 and T-Mobile's new plan is unlimited everything for $70/mo including 2.5 GB/mo of using your cell phone as a wifi hotspot. No commitments either so it's the best non-plan plan I could find.

I'll be curious to see where this discussion goes. I'm a Sprint customer and am really ticked at their continued lack of 4G in Denver Metro.

I had it in some little towns in the middle of nowhere on a cross country trip, but not in Denver, especially South Metro. Everybody seems to have better coverage than Sprint.

I wish technology solved people issues. It seems to just reveal them.
