chach - The only way that post could have been any better is if you had told us what part of the state you're from. I love the enthusiasm and great attitude.

Welcome! I look forward to seeing the many contributions you'll make to this site to make it even better.

Too much paradise? Believe it or not, that is actually true. It's funny but you miss the little things, like a steak at the supermarket...so used to bulk chicken feet instead of meat in the butcher section.

It's great and it was an unforgettable time, and don't get me wrong, I still go back and consult for my business. But believe it or not, I let my wife choose where to live, and she said Denver. I must say, I don't regret this move one bit. Other than the crazy driver now and then, you Coloradans are great and I am thrilled to be here.

Trust me on this...from May to October, you want to die it is so damn hot. And we were on the island of Exuma...probably a population of 80ish? We were so damn remote we were lucky to have oxygen!

I can certainly identify with that. YEARS ago, when I was stationed in Korea I got a hankering for a simple glazed doughnut and couldn't find one to save my life. While there were things that looked similar in the Korean bakeries, they didn't have anything that even came close in actual taste or flavor.

Again. welcome to CO and this board. We're glad to have you.

    One that "gets it"!

I spent many years stationed away from my native home in various "peoples paradises"... Hmm, for the most part hated 'em all for various reasons. Yep, we have our own outside-induced libtard problem to deal with, but for the most part this is still a pretty kick-butt state.

    Welcome to God's country!

You guys are great! Thank you for being so welcoming and your comments are the best! LMAO

I really am grateful to be here among such warm people.

I'm just getting more into this, and I'm pretty sure I'll be doing more reading than posting, but if I can help in any way....perhaps giving clinics on:

    - how to fashion a spear from various element of the wild
    - how to make fish stew (what the hell happened to waffles for breakfast in other parts of the world???)
    - the 8000+ uses of powdered milk (that NEVER got old!)
    - the beneficial uses of rum

Whatever I can do to help contribute...it will be my pleasure!

I'll trade my spear for a sig 220! I'll actually put you in a 2 million dollar house for a vacation if I got a sig out of it!
