But, but, but ... you're going to make them feel bad! They're going to stand out and be embarrassed by having to use those stamps instead of a card like everyone else. And why shouldn't they be able to save up and splurge a little on that steak lobster bottle of wine marijuana like everyone else?

I'd honestly have less of a problem with them being used at a gun shop vs a pot shop.

I have a problem with them being used anywhere but for their intended use. Wealth redistribution isn't OK just because it fits your likes needs or desires.

It doesn't matter, they will just drive their new escalade to the bank ATM and get cash then go get some smoke. The way people abuse all forms of assistance in sickening and really pisses me off. But when places like FEMA hand it out no questions asked people are gonna abuse it. I talked to a couple people who had gotten large cash payments due to the flood (like $200,000+), after their "ghetto rich" shopping trips they are now broke and living in an apartment with jack to show for it, but who cares they are still getting assistance. FEMA is giving trailer houses to people to live in free while they get reduced/free utilities and internet, they got all their old TV's replaced with new big screens, and now they can afford new cars. One such family had a new charger and a new 4 door HEMI pickup in the driveway with temp tags and custom wheels. I agree, go back to stamps it should be enough of an embarrassment to motivate them to get off of it. And they need to cut the monthly amount, people get way to much money for food compared to those who work for it.

If you give it, they will abuse it.

The police cannot protect the citizen at this stage of our development, and they cannot even protect themselves in many cases. It is up to the private citizen to protect himself and his family, and this is not only acceptable, but mandatory.

EBT isn't just foodstamps. If you get welfare and foodstamps, you have two accounts on one card. Think savings and checking on the same debit card. So youcan withdrawal cash off the welfare side, just not off the food stamp side.

Hopefully holder will extend that to his business associates south of the border as well, wouldn't want anyone feeling left out or bullied.
