    Default To pack or not?

Just a Feeler....Know the laws on prohibited places does any one think about inappropriate places to carry. Like to a friends house who is have company over you don't know ,but they turn out to be cool. Or a church for instance. Or many other example sort of taboo places. Moms house.?? Its the fear of not having it and needing it that makes me bring it along. But I do wonder what other other people think about this "Feeler"??!

my pastor ASKED me to carry when there was an individual that had made some threats to unspecified churches in the Canon City area...

for at least a couple months, he had a handgun in the pulpit... he may still...

I'd say, unless the church has specific instructions AGAINST it, then you should pack there- think of how much worse the New Life shooting would have been if that security guard wasn't armed...
and your mom's house- what if somebody tried something while you were there... if your mom IS the threat, then you've got more issues than where you should carry

so cases like that, you may save much more than your own life...

Here is something my dad told me a long time ago. Regardless of law.....

"it's better to be judged by 12 than carried out by 6"

You never know when you might need to protect yourself. The day you leave your weapon in your car could be the day that you meet your maker.

I'd like to know what planted this seed of doubt in your head in the first place?

I always carry at my parents place. I carry at my friend's house (unless I'm drinking a lot, then I go put it in the car), but I don't tell them about it.
