Having previously owned a touareg I can say the error lights are constantly on. If its not one thing it's another. One of the greatest suv's I've ever owned and one of the worst. It drove amazing, all the right proportions and the right motor. It sucked donkey balls in the snow and was constantly in the shop to the tune of 13k worth of work in 12 months.

driver in truck does not know how to drive, back end smoking tires, if your tires are spinning you have no traction
Self control: The minds ability to override the body's urge to beat the living sh.. out of some ass.... who desperately deserves it.

Coefficient of static friction (Touareg) vs. coefficient of dynamic friction (truck). Once the truck lit 'em up, it was over.

I too was waiting for the strap to break, killing someone.

Tires make the difference in the snow more then traction control or AWD. My x5 was scary through Loveland pass in the snow till I put tires on it. Then it became a sure footed mountain goat.

The rest of it... wish you still had it and were bringing it to me. Lol.

I will keep my Cummins Dually with a Bradford Flatbed...10 time more useful then both of these put together.

Anyhow, a better way to go about this is diesel sled pulling.

The funny part of it was that vw certified it before I bought it so they got to foot the bill. I still don't understand why they didn't just buy it back from me, guess I should have asked. Damn thing was constantly in the shop.

And I'll agree it needed snows to really perform but that's funny because my Tahoe doesn't. Kinda makes you scratch your head huh?

Not really depending on the tires you had on the ho. Most light truck tires are significantly more aggressive tread patterns then even all season SUV tires.
