My Son has one of those & really likes it too.
I had a choice between getting the G1 or keeping my phone & getting a Mini 14. I went with the Mini. Sure it costs more, but I get way better service with the Ruger. The Mini 14 really lets you reach out and touch something!

I couldn't chech the internet at work if I wanted to. I work in a certain military installation, and the building I work in is built like a bomb shelter, and I lose all service the second I walk in. Cell phones are useless.

That G1 is the shit though, I was looking at one the other day.
