    There isn't anything other than LE ID, some form to verify you were LE within X time frame to apply. At least with any prior LE ihave known.

    Looks like you don't need it.

    For the record hunters safety works in some counties in co but not Adams or any metro area.

    SO, My RO issued me a letter, We will see if it is accepted. For now no further info is needed. I will update this or make a new post after my appointment in march to advise whether this worked or not.

    My friend in Denver is looking to get his CCW and asked my help to find him a good instructor. I've taken him out shooting just once, but he was quite competent with safety regarding muzzle control, keeping his finger off the trigger, and not being non-chalant about it all. I'm not an instructor, however, and I'd like to see him take a class that starts with the basics.

    Someone gave him a business card for "Right on Target, LLC" with the name of Tyler Johnson. Has anyone ever heard of him? I searched the forum for those names but came up with nothing.

    Really I think I should just have him give J/Spleify a ring.

    I belive right on target is a lecture only ccw course. If you want that just get ahold of me.

    However with what you've said about your friend's experince level get ahold of J/spleify for some hands on.

    I took a lecture only class and wish I had taken a better one. I had already read online everything the teacher said in the class.
