    We need more women like her. Happiest moment came last night when my GF asked me to take her gun shopping sometime so she could find a good pistol to fit her small hands, then teach her to shoot so she could eventually get her CCW.

    Just a word of advice, once she's able to safely load, unload and knows which end of the gun is the dangerous one, send her to someone you trust to teach her. Standing next to the person you sleep with and "correcting" them (even if they need correcting) does not make for a happy evening.

    I'm glad someone brought that up. Tried to teach an ex how to kayak....it didn't end well.

    My happiest so far was when my wife told me her favorite gun to shoot was my FAL. We were at Whittington, knocking them down on the silhouette range. She now has her own FAL.
