I didn't go, no. But he swears it's one of the best outings he ever gets to do so I thought Id share it.

Hurley's comment about the sand made me think of it.

Started putting the springer seat on the bike last night, got a little frustrated with HD's lousy instructions. Thanks to Duman for giving me a second set of eyes on the proper install. I was going to finish this morning but got on a roll after I got off the phone with him that I got it installed. Can't wait for it to warm up just a little more and see how is. Just sitting on it I really like the position it puts me in. Need to get some plugs for the mounting holes in the fender for the original seat.

Looks a lot like the seats Jeffco has on their FLHTP Police bikes, except they have a little hydraulic shock at the rear. Makes it a right PITA to get to the primary battery.

Looks great on your bike, hope it rides as good as it looks!

He worked on my bike a couple months ago... I'm assuming he's still operating his shop.

There were a lot of businesses open a couple of months ago that are currently ?closed until further notice?.

    Just saying.

Hoping Tfog is open for business. I could use a set of tires soon.

Regular auto mechanics are open here, as are the cycle shops, essential based on travel.

Thanks! Yeah the Road King Police bikes have an even bigger saddle. I wanted to get one from the older Cross Bones model but the trick would've been working up a mount for the new frame, so far I'm liking it though only ran a quick errand on it. Hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow.
