    Default AR Pistols

    Figured I'd start one for the ar pistols out there
    my 7.5" fde

    I really need to get my build done, err, started. I'm looking at doing something like your FDE build or something with a fixed front sight to mirror my carbine and dissipator.

    its a new finish from rguns. I didn't know if I was going to like it or not but I really do now that I got my hands on it.

    I don't own an AR pistol (anymore...sold it), but this thread got me thinking about another build (my wife's going to be thrilled). Regardless, my question to all of you who bought/built them, can you build an AR pistol on a lower that is sold as a "rifle"? I am assuming one way to get around this issue is just to buy a lower that is marked "Cal - Multi" but I was just wondering. Thank you and these are some BEAUTIFUL looking pistols.

    NO, sort of. stripped lowers should be sold as "other". Rifles cannot be made into pistols

    Thank you very much for that information. I will make sure when looking to buy my next lower, the FFL holder labels the 4473 accordingly. Again, thank you for the good intel.
