Anytime I hear "I have a .45 cause shooting twice is silly." I just blankly stare at them.

I'd rather not be shot with anything - regardless of caliber. I absolutely hate, loathe & despise the jackasses who believe: "If you don't carry a .45, you aint shit". Many years ago I took a training class from a former NARC officer who was shot 4 times with a .45 (3 in the torso area) and lived. People need to get over that it's the "size of the caliber" that determines the win of the gunfight.
The character of a man can be judged by how he treats those who can do nothing for him

It may not be as bad as some of the other ones in this thread, but it's still tired from being beaten to death.
I'm also tired of "another tool in the toolbox." It may not be a bad concept, but I usually hear it from people who have limited time and money to spend on filling their training toolbox, and have no experience or knowledge to recognize that a 23-piece left-handed non-sparking metric Torx screwdriver set will be either an expensive niche item, or completely useless to them.
My peers in the middle-aged-fat-guy demographic, who spend lots of money on carbine training and virtually none on gym memberships or rolling around on the floor, are particularly guilty of this.
