DONE!!
Man I really like this thing, it is so comfortable and feels great in your hand.
I ended up taking it back apart and putting it back together at least a dozen more times making sure everything fit just right. I hand filed, ground and hand sanded for about 4 more hours on it. I threw it on the router table and put a 45 degree chamfer (bevel) on it and then did a final sanding with 800 wet, then 1000 wet sand paper. Then final assembly. I oiled all contact points and the two small ball bearings that the blade runs on when opening. I used a spot of blue lock tight on all screws to be sure they would stay where they belong.
Anyway on to the pics!!
Thanks for the kind words all, and thanks for looking!

That one looks pretty cool. Did you ever show the pictures of the one made out of jeans?

That is awesome Leif! My knife should be in the mail by the time I get home today. I need to get with you soon, you are a true craftsman my friend!
Next up, Spleify will be installing a single white LED inside so as to use the opaque handle material as a light diffuser. Looking forward to the results!
