Having lived in the South (NC/GA/FL) in the past, I can attest to the insanity that erupts when a single snow flake falls but the mess that just two inches has caused Atlanta (most god-awful place on planet earth) is rather astounding. It snowed a handful of times when I lived in ATL but this current mayhem is a tad much
