It's that easy. Now when you're up for renewal you go to acso

When it comes time to renew just renew with the original issuing county. If you go through arapahoe then you will have to pay all the fees just as if it was your first time. My permit was originally issued in Adams county and when I moved to Broomfield county I just did the change of address with them, and then renew through Adams. I asked the sheriff if I needed to go through Broomfield county and was told that I could if I chose to do so but I would have to apply with them just like my first time which includes paying all th fees again.
Does Denver send you a new card to reflect your address change, or do they just update their files?
