Google K-MAX autonomous helicopter too.. It's being used in Afghanistan by US Marine. We are there.

Rig them with some C4, a remote camera, and a sensor to alert base if they suddenly switch to manual or are stopped too long? :P

Remote controlled machine gun mounted on top of the vehicles. Only need one guy in the trailer back on base who can toggle between vehicles to engage hijackers.

You dont even need an operator with Samsung SGR A1. It has friend and foe, etc etc.

Nice! I had imagined that Friend & Foe could easily be done on such mountable weapons, but it's not like it's a static base with a huge sign saying "Stay back or get shot", there could be civilians or non-combatants walking the road, etc, that probably shouldn't be shot just because they don't have a "friendly" RF code answering back. Hence, a fleshy-brain in a chair to make the call.

Speaking of Friend/Foe, I'd be pissing my pants relying on friendly-recognition technology to be recognized by a machine before it puts 20rds into a 5" ring on my chest.
