There's a point on my commute where on a clear day, I can see the entire front range from the Wyoming border to Pikes Peak. It never fails to amaze and inspire me.

The exhilaration of running a motorcycle through the gears, especially down a curvy road...

Very recently I've found an odd sense of humor in calling businesses located in the Crow Hill area and telling them that the liberals of the US have decided they are NOT located in Bailey, let alone Baily and that they should change their addresses immediately reflecting this sentiment. After all, liberals only show facts and "the truth", in everything they speak.

(Disclaimer, most won't get this, others will find it hysterical as f#$&. )

Thus far, the hang ups are speaking for themselves..... just sayin.

Just got home from work. One of the best feeling in the world is finally laying in bed, when my knees go "ahhhhhhhhhhhh" and I get that "holy crap - my knees are killing me" feeling. I have 10-12 hour shifts and I'm on my feet the entire time. Skiing/boarding so much when I was younger is taking it's toll (had surgery on both knees from skiing/boarding injuries).

Putting the boat on the water early on a summer's morning when it is dead calm and the sun still East of the horizon; knowing I have the next six hours or so to myself to chase fish or just....

Just writing that makes me smile.
