    This reminds me why I only load my own or shoot factory ammo from one of the big names (Federal, Winchester, Remington, etc.). I'm in charge of quality control with my stuff and the big companies have big bank accounts should their product destroy any if my property.

    Glad you are alive and well and that good looking wheel gun is still in one piece.

    First - way to stay head's up. In a bottom feeder, a squib probably won't cycle the next round, and people are more likely to figure out what's going on. In a revolver, it's just another trigger pull to get a total disaster.

    Not to cause undue concern, but if there's a squib in one, it's entirely possible that there's a double charge lurking somewhere in that batch of ammo. Depends on what press...

    I'd add that generous lubing makes tapping the bullet out much easier.

    Good catch. Plus that is a really nice revolver that I'm sure you wouldn't want damaged! And obviously you don't want to get injured yourself!
    I don't make the rules. I just think them up and write them down.
