The Seahawks remind me of the 2000 Ravens and the Broncos were no where near ready to play that kind of game. Between the crowd noise and that punishing defence, the Broncos were dazed and confused from the first possession. I kinda suspected a Seahawk win, but nothing like this. Wow!
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

I definitely wouldn't have been surprised by a Seahawks win but its rare that an NFL team gets dominated like that in every facet of the game.
I'm not going to do what most Broncos fans have done and turn this into a Broncos hate fest. They're still my team and they still made it to the Superbowl. Yes, they lost but there are 30 other teams that would have LOVED to have been in the Superbowl even knowing they were going to lose by that score. Count on it. This stat of how many times a team or a QB has lost a Superbowl is easily the most overhyped and worst stat in all of professional sports. They make it sounds like there are two teams in the NFL who play ONE game and the loser is the source of ridicule. That's just idiotic. There can only be one champion and all others are losers but Denver still made the Superbowl which is an impressive accomplishment.
All that being said.... congratulations to the Seattle Seahawks & their fans. That was an IMPRESSIVE win no matter how you slice it and all the credit in the world goes to the Seahawks. To belittle the Broncos at this point is discrediting what the Seahawks have done and that's just not fair. The Seahawks played the most dominate football game at every aspect that I have ever seen... regular season or otherwise. This is impressive when you take into account they held the most prolific offense in the history of the NFL to only 8 points. Good defenses have a tendency to make good offenses look bad and that's exactly what happened. We just witnessed probably the greatest defensive performance in Superbowl history coupled with a flawless offense and special teams performance. Nothing you can do about that and Seattle gets the credit they deserve from me for playing what amounts to as perfect of a Superbowl as you'll ever see. I'm not a poor sport so I didn't gloat when Denver was winning game after game in a big way and I won't pout or shift blame when they lose either. Good game Seattle and hopefully Denver will use this offseason to get better and come back in the spring to make another run. That's sports and my life doesn't begin & end with them.

^what Jer said. This was a tough one to watch but it's sports and this is what can happen. It's going to be a long off-season.
Denver showed up with their C game. That's the way the story goes. Good season, horrible game.
