I have an aluminum rim that has a random bead leak most of the time is is somewhat slow but occasionally with big temp changes will go down over night, spray down the tire and all around the inside bead bubbles everywhere. tires are 5 months old and I bought the tire warranty and have brought it in twice both times they pulled off the tire and clean it up then it holds for a couple week discount tire said if it happens again I will get charged no big deal... the service writer I talked to said that i could have the rim sent out and they will regrind the bead sealing surface then spray some kind of primer it to prevent it from happening again. pretty steep at 189 bucks. Has anyone had this done and are the results worth the cost?
I hate tires and thankfully our dealership does not speak the word tire.
