Ordered a upper from DSArms, told me it was backordered for 6-8 months anyone had any similar dealings with DSA.

I cant really complain got an upper for 270.00, just wondered if this was SOP for DSA

DSA doesnt have live online inventory. Try JSE surplus instead.. Same price range..

I personally would not wait that long for an upper. Like Chunky stated in stock deals can be had for about the same price. I don't even order from Palmetto State because of their lead time.

I agree with monkey. JSE is great, they ship quick and have great prices. I bought a barrel from them about two weeks ago and it was in the mail the same day, and at my doorstep within three days.

Yep. Been dealing with them for 15 years now. Us Fal guys used to plan 3-6 months for many things and I know guys that got there stuff 14-16 months after ordering.

DSA makes pretty good stuff, but you have to call to confirm stock status on everything. The 14.5 chrome lined AR barrel i got from them has worked great.

a little over 2 weeks ago i ordered a 20" upper from them and got the same e mail. i called them, and they informed me that only their zm4 carbine length uppers are in stock all other are 6 months out. i ended up going with a PSA premium 16" midlength for $279

DSA has good stuff, but you plan your build around a year. Jerry is right, took me 2 years to build some fals, and it wasn't a money or build issue...tick tock tick tock....couldn't be happier with their stuff. Plus i ordered some of their ar stuff a while back before the kenyen got into office...good stuff for the price..
