    Actually I think these people are afraid to learn the truth about guns because it would make it harder for them to demonize them. Also if they look too much like they know what they're talking about their fellow antis and liberals will look at them sideways (these are the same kind of people that object to "No Guns" signs because there's a picture of a gun on them).
