    Default Which AR-10 Optic?

So I've got my AR10 Patrol Rifle built and I'm looking for ideas for an optic. I already have a precision AR10 so I'm not looking to put a bulky scope on it, I do have an Aimpoint PRO thats available to me but I'd like to hear others opinions.

ACOG with the 308 ballistic reticle. 3x, 3.5x or 4x magnification. Dvor.com has them on sale frequently.

A lot depends on the accuracy of your barrel. J is right though. Can't go wrong with an Acog for plinking.

What do you want to do with them? Plink, Hunt, shoot 3Gun, all-around battle rifle? The purpose(s) of the rifle has a bearing on which optic.

ACOGs are great, but consider a Burris MTAC (1-4x) as a great scope for the money. Offers a solid 4x scope with Ballistic Reticle for shooting out to 500-600y, and you can turn it down to 1x if you need/want to.
