If someone does get banned its best to leave it alone and not make things public. All board decisions are made collectively by the site staff and no one site staff member makes a decision alone. For the respect and privacy of the member being banned we dont openly discuss why/when/how/where/what we banned a member.

I can say that none of the staff have ever done that. Not sure where you get that but please post the threads where this has happened. We are a private family board and take great pride in making members welcome.

I was not referring to staff. I was referring to Jim having done it in a gruff way ( it bothered me) Also the person I quoted was glorifying putting new members " in their place"

That's a fantastic question, he was quite a character, even if a cartoon character at times. I miss the SOB. I believe he is in GA or somewhere down south these days.

Ever heard the term "the untouchables", after all they did name him the "Godfather" of COAR! Some things are better left unsaid.

No one is untouchable or impervious to time outs.

Contrary to his requested user title of "Banned", Byte Stryke is still here and pops in regularly (he last visited the site on January 23rd), he just doesn't post very often anymore. He must not like us as much as his new GA friends.
