I've owned this 1971 CB350 for over a decade. It's 100% original at this point with around 5,000 miles. It even has the original tires. Scary.
A few years ago, I ordered new aftermarket OEM reproduction tailpipes from a place in England along with new old stock OEM cables and a few bits and pieces of rubber--grips, pegs, etc. I'm normally a pretty hands-on person with this stuff so I had always planned to go through it bit by bit and really enjoy the process. Unfortunately, life continues to get in the way and it sits in my hangar under a cover year after year.
So my question/request: I'm wondering if there's someone on the board who is both qualified and willing to take on the project of installing the new cables, rubber bits, new tires, new tailpipes, etc. along with cleaning up the carb and generally getting it ready to ride for this spring. I'm fairly particular about things so I'd want someone who appreciates that while I realize this will never be a high-dollar item, it's important to me and I want things done right.
I've got an enclosed trailer so I can deliver it to pretty much anywhere for the right mechanic.
Thanks in advance,
Rod
