Just a Public Service Announcement reminder to check your spare tire air pressure and general condition.
I hit something this morning on I25 north at Sante Fe. The tire went down almost instantly after the BIG CRUNCH/BANG. By the time I got over to the shoulder it was shredded. Then I found the spare donut was almost flat. There was enough air in it to get me off the highway to where I could add some air to get home.
I've been advised that I should make sure I rotate the air with the proper seasonally conditioned air.
Have a Good Day. All in all my day wasn't all that bad.
