    Default Gotta love health insurance

Payment on new policy recieved, and confirmed by "provider" Jan 4th. Errors etc on policy. Been upgraded to "blue" multiple times. Have direct lines for 4 people. No one calls back, and voicemail boxes are full, so can't even leave messages. Next option, sit on the phone

    all

    day

    long....

So far Im at 2 hours and 43minutes of hold, and very brief conversations. Not getting off the phone until I get my policy cards emailed over. But even just having a policy number sure would be novel.

When is the right time to use this anyway?

After a month and a half, multiple calls, supervisors etc, and 3hours 28minutes on one call today... Just got told "one issue is there are no contracted doctors within 30 miles"

"There's nothing within 30 miles, at all, maybe a vet clinic."

"Well Im trying to see what we can do about that"

Wow, happy to take my money, but having a hard time issuing a policy because I dont live in a city, really? Wow, I guess nearly all of Wyoming is screwed!

Just wait, once you do get a policy you'll be treated guilty of insurance fraud until proven innocent when you submit a claim.

Oh I know. Fortunately, family rarely sees the doc.

    Coming up on 4 hours.

    oh, 3hr 58minutes, so close to 4hrs....
manager of the supervisor I was talking with requested he get of the phone and take care of other cases.

Promises a call back BEFORE 6pm tonight. And claims his personal voicemail box is not full either. Who wants to start a betting pool on those 2 statements?!

Im waiting on a yes or no. If a yes, I need policy cards today (doc is shutting office tomorrow, no ins #, means I pay, which means I wasnt insured)

Me too, first time in a couple years I had to go in. Got an xray, some pills and a PT appt. United HC is convinced that my injury was the fault of someone else, car or work accident.. Today when I call them after work will be the 6th time ive had to contact them to try to get my claim approved, all the time being treated like a liar/criminal.

Insanity. is the only word to describe it.

    Best of luck!

It's a measure of the civility in this country that no ones seems to fear constantly pissing off the people who own lots of guns.

-sounds a whole lot like dealing with Allstate after the September floods here in Boulder...our first claim in 22 years and they treated us like dirt.
