Default Sitting here at Discount Tire

Sitting here waiting to have $900 worth of tires put on my wife's vehicle. Can't get her to respond to phone calls, texts, or face time to come pick me up so I'm sitting here screwing around on my phone. I am listening to these people come in with their problems, complaints, and concerns.

    Man, people are idiots.

Yeah, people at large can be pretty dumb. Proof is everywhere. For instance; on my deodorant it says "do not apply to eyes" .... REALLY? The worst part when I see things like this is that I know that enough people have tried this that it necessitates a warning NOT to do it.

I was getting some new tires at Discount back in October when we had our first really cold morning. I wish I had a nickel for every person that came in because they had a dashboard indicator saying their tire pressure was low.

All it takes is for 1 idiot to do it and sue because the label didn't specifically say not to.

My wife whines about that so much in cold weather my standard answer is pretty much STFU now.

The most common complaint today seems to be sliding around on snow and ice. Apparently, if you have new tires you just won't slide on snow and ice.

Hey, it worked for me, but then again, my tires were as bald as Mr. Clean.

I wish I (my wife) didn't have those sensors. This is a current gen Wrangler. Ours went on yesterday. Apparently, they only last about 3 years is what she told me. I checked (and filled) all four tires to the point she'll be lucky to not be bouncing down the road. Still with the indicator light. I miss my old YJ.
