I guess nobody ever got bullied untill the 90's funny how back in the day kids carried knifes, guns and everything else to school and we never had school shootings.

Hell I had guns in my car a buck 110 knife on my hip at all times and we sure didn't have any school shootings or stabings.

Now a kid gets expelled for a butter knife in his lunch box and we have massacres. A kid gets in a good ol fashion fist fight he is expelled all I got was a meeting with the principle and my parents. Now they call the cops destroy their life with felony charges and exppulsion.

In the end what made me who I am is life experience I got bullied, I bullied others, I kicked some ass, I got my ass kicked. Columbine was created by liberal BS history has proven that.

we hunted with our principal after school for quail and doves.
And like I said we had riots, and fights were at least every week (fights not riots), there was no cops to intimidate you and you did time in detetion with the dude you fought with.
And yes we bullied and were bullied.
I know our parents were alot different then. You got you ass kicked even in High shool if you screwed up. Now they reward the kids with cars and ipods, and all that shit. we had JOBS, and Chores,, if we wanted a car well Dad handed you the paper and said here I helped by circling some good work for you. then I will drive you to where YOU can buy a car. I paid my insurance, upkeep and gas.
I played football, wrestling, track, weightlifting team, and went to work every afternoon and saturdays. Didn't really have much time for trouble.
Parents always knew what you were up to no matter what... LOL,,, ESP I think they had.

The media just needs ratings and maybe the anti's have a hand in it as I saw today that there was a gathering on the capital to remember the fallen with a cry for MORE STRICKTER GUN LAWS.

Ours wasn't. But they did have to bring in a bodyguard for him... Seems He got beat up a lot...

Yes, they were bullied, but so was everyone. Hell, I was on the wrestling and lacrosse team (so most would consider me a jock, even though I wasn't) and I was bullied all the same.

Did anyone watch the re-dramitization? I'm pretty sure Eric's state of mind was the primary cause, and Dylan was more or less just going along with it. At least that's what I want to believe.

I watched it but I couldn't pick up on what was real and what was faked for effect. Since the History Channel spends most of its time talking about Jesus, UFO's and Monsters individually and sometimes a combination of the 3 like "Were there UFO's in the Bible?" And the occasional Global Warming show where they start out with:
1) CO2 coming from cars.
2) Something happens
3) The temperature is rising or falling causeing global warming or cooling.
4) The only way to stop it is by going green and driving a Hybrid. And its all because of step 2 and they don't really elaberate on that opinion very much. So it leads me to assume that the History Channel is being run by the same libtards that run the other media. I have a hard time buying it.
But I digress...

But I don't give them any slack for saying they were bullied either. There are millions of kids that are bullied and never shoot up the place. I knew of one kid that might have shot up the school because he was bullied but he never did. He was to much of a coward to even defend himself physically.
Its as easy to blame the movies that they watched about the same time too. But that didn't make them do it. Clinton was in office at that time and all the BS laws that put out made we wonder why more people didn't snap.

But there is one thing that can be avoided to prevent future crazy's from acting out like this, and that is the media not giving attention to pukes like these. There could be as little of reason that some people shoot up a school as they wanted media attention. The Virginia Tech guy sent out videos to the news so they would "know" his side of it. Good thing for them they don't care about what's really going on and just showed stills of him holding his gun and a few sound byte rants. But they still didn't shut up for weeks about it. Not when they could have blamed the gun and where he bought it and some of the accessories. No Egay doesn't carry any gun parts. The only thing that will do is stop ebay from being sued for the next shooting it won't stop the next one.

Deterance, its an ugly idea for schools. Arming teachers is something I don't think is a good idea because teachers are liberal missionaries that are just sent to corrupt our youth IMHO. And giving them a way to protect themselves goes against everything they stand for. But a dererant like having teachers armed in general would be enough to prevent a student from thinking a school is a unarmed shooting gallery. Gun Free Zone does not have the same warm and fuzzy feeling for me as it does the the dumbshits that thought of it. It says to me that the Constitution has been suspended here and in all the houses within a thousand feet of here. It also says that if your an idiot criminal there is very little reason for you to not pick this place to shoot up. Nobody just going about their day is going risk breaking this rule and the place is unarmed and helpless. If you have a suicidal criminal that isn't to worried about the punishment at all. In fact you will get to show them all. You get your picture on the news and everything. But if there is as good a chance your going to be shot before you get to pull off your plan it doesn't look so appealing anymore. I would say that some of the houses surrounding a school might have police or capable citzens that could help in few minutes it takes STHF before the cops get there to clean up the place. I know of parents that normally sane people ready to get their hunting rifles or what nots out and go to the school to protect their kids. They wouldn't wait three hours to go in either.

But it didn't have to go as bad as it did. And it shouldn't happen again. The copy cats that are doing the same exact thing over and over again and all they can say to stop it is to ban all guns. The pukes that do this even have the same MO.

It seems crazy to go after law abidding gun owners for Columbine and other shootings in general. And it seems criminal and lower than anything to use the people killed to those ends.

I can only assume this is because they want more victims. More victims means they can scream louder for more gun control.

I was bullied all through school (Through my sophmore year I was the shortest kid in my school - and finally grew to 6' but still graduated @ just 138lbs). Because of my size I was a perfect target. Couple this with the fact that my dad had a 100% NO FIGHTING policy - in that he included standing up and protecting myself. If he ever found out I'd been fighting, I got my butt kicked @ home next.

Once, I even got my wrist broken by a bully. The same guy came after me a month after I got my cast off and I whipped his butt. That afternoon 3 of his linebacker sized friends came and reminded me of my place in the food chain. My dad never found out!

After HS I was away from my family for 3 months to watch my late grandparents property and I really worked out and bulked up (you can really put on some mass by eating well and bucking hay all summer). From that point forward I swore I'd NEVER be a victim again if I could help it - and I haven't been!

All my life I had access to guns and I NEVER considered using one to exact revenge or even the odds. Those who react that way have deeper seated issues and need help beyond just protection from the bullies.

I am NOT in favor of the ridiculous "Zero Tolerance Policy" that exists in schools these days - common sense must prevail but, sadly, it gets checked at the door and some bullying still continues. I do agree that the schools have many programs in place that can help stave off bullying but they can still improve how they handle most of these situations.

We've got a long way to go and I'm afraid we're headed in the wrong direction.
