Default How long before "smart firearms" are required here

    http://www.foxnews.com/tech/2014/02/...ntcmp=features

Sucks that companies are pursuing this technology. If all the gun manufacturers refused to develop this junk, it would be less likely the libs would be able to mandate them. Now that a company has a working model for sale, how much longer until Cali, NY or CO will require it?

I think that first, if this technology is to be accepted, it should be REQUIRED to be first be acquired by law enforcement to prove the reliability and viability of the concept. If the cops don't want it than it should not be required of the rest of the citizenship.

I've not only managed, but have indeed thrived without a 'smart' phone. Be assured, I'll be just fine without a 'smart' gun.

I trust my life and the lives of my loved ones to my firearms. Not going to risk that on a notoriously unreliable, electronic doo-hickey just to make some statist halfwits feel better. Will not comply.

I don't think these ridiculous things or any other form of gun control should be shoved down our throats. The tyrant anti-gun crowd will do anything to Nerf our sport, way of life, and means of protection.

More bullshit from liberals. My guess is it won't sell and therefore won't be in production long.

I agree with wcitriumph, let's see how Leos like it. My guess is not much. One more thing that could break.

"...can only function with an accompanying wristwatch, which is sold separately."
"The pistol sells for $1,399 and the watch retails for another $399"

So $1800 for a .22 pistol. Should be a huge hit.
