Veterans, and those who support them, please read

Hey folks! been a while since I was an active poster on here, just the business of life and home ownership have taken most of my spare time for the last year.

Anyways, I will simply post what I posted on Facebook here for you guys to read:

Ok folks, here we go. On a more serious issue than posting stupid pictures or trash talking, today I am looking for some assistance and likes/shares. Having previously written and called my representatives and senators about this issue with little more than lip service as a response, I have decided to take the issue to a different level. Today I have written my first White House petition. While there is little chance of gaining the required 100k signatures, I figured it couldn't hurt to try. Social media seems to be the way to get things done now days.

I need to get 150 signatures before the petition is publicly viewable so I could use everyone's help!

The petition is about addressing the time limit on educational benefits for Veterans. I am positive that this issue has affected more than just me in my group of friends, and I'm sure thousands across the country. I don't believe benefits that you had to pay for out of your own pocket and serve your country for should expire.

I just started this today and am going to be trying for the next month do do everything I can to get the word out. Once I have the 150 signatures required before the petition goes public I'm going to start spamming every thing and every one I can even think of from news networks to YouTube celebs.

I know there is a large veteran following here so I thought I'd put it out there if anyone is interested in signing. Thanks all!
