Now, I'm not disputing this statement. I know for a fact from personal observation that many -- if not most -- young people (in this case defined as 20-somethings) are knuckleheads. What I find ludicrous is her next statement:
I guess someone who thinks nothing of spending $15000 on a dress also wouldn't think much of spending $600/yr on gym shoes but where the heck do you find such expensive footwear? I think my most expensive New Balance shoes were $90 or thereabouts and they usually last quite a bit longer than a year (okay, I don't go to the gym as much as I should).Obama added that thanks to Obamacare, coverage for young people was much cheaper.
"Now young people can get insurance for as little as $50 a month, less than the cost of gym shoes," she explained.
I can't wait to see how she lives the lifestyles of the rich and famous when it's no longer on the taxpayer's dime ...
