Mission Viejo - Aurora

Does anyone know what the Mission Viejo community is like? I've been told that the southern part of Aurora is nicer than the rest and safer, but not sure how far south is the "better" part.

I used to live at Tower and Hampden, and my dad has a rental right in Mission Viejo. I'd say that is a pretty nice part of Aurora.

I live across the street from mission viejo and it's ok, I wouldn't want to live any further north and it gets better south of here. It's the north end of cherry creek schools of that helps at all

I live on Quincy and Piccadilly I like it there. I grew up on Argonne and Quincy east of the water treatment plant, parents still live there. I think it's nicer by southlands more of the centennial area.

Anything south of Hampden is pretty nice. I do many houses in Mission Viejo, Meadow Hills etc. Mission Viejo is older, smaller houses in the most part. You go west or east one major street over, you'll see larger homes.

Thinking about it, there are a few houses down there under 200k. Haven't seen them yet, but they look like something to look at

That house is a dump and shouldn't go for more than 170K in its current condition.

Mission Viejo was really hard hit during the recession and has declined quite a bit but appears to be making a steady come back. You'll get a lot of sqft for the money and despite the appearance of some of the homes it's a very safe community.

I am over by Quincy and Picadilly. Nice place, good people. Except for the HOA... No real complaints.
