    Default Ar15 pistols

Don't know much about em. But interested in a ar15 pistol. So I take it u can go shorter barrel on pistol. .no sbr since its not a rifle. How short can u go? How reliable are they? Whats the sweet spot on length? Seen some pics with sig brace. Guess I'm interested on the local take on these regarding gun laws. Thx

I have a 7.5" and it runs great even with steel case ammo.

If I were to do it again I would just build one. Midway had 7.5" barrels for like $120 recently.

I got my upper from red x arms for $315 shipped.

I've been thinking about picking one up from them or Karri's.

I built it to be short so I went 7.5, I was OK giving up the ballistics for this.

10" would give you better velocity.

12" seems dumb, just get a 14.5 with a pinned fh and have a rifle.

Every Sig brace comes with a copy of the letter from the alphabet guys with the official (as of now) stance as not An NFA item.
So, until they change their minds, the Sig. Braces are legal. Just keep the letter in your gun case when out shooting in case you run into some uninformed local LE.

My 7.5 runs great with no cycling issues either, including steel case. I built mine from parts bought during Black Friday specials. Very fun to shoot!

One of the nicest things about an AR pistol?

Having that silly smile on your face after shooting it.
