Default Orthodontics: I'm in the wrong business.

Okay, so I think I have got this figured out.

Got 4 kids between the two of us. The other sperm/egg donors are pretty much deadbeats. either content to be unemployed or underemployed and collect a paycheck for the children.

But anyways, on to the topic.

Over the next 4 years I will have paid the damn Orthodontic Office $15K for work on the children after insurance. AND that is having TWO major insurances!

I am in the wrong business. It seems as though All I have to do is be a ortho dentist, get in real good with a local family dentist to get them to "refer families to my practice" because, "if they don't get this overcrowding taken care of BAD things will happen" and "you can make the check out to: ..." Glue some wires on the teeth, for 2 - 3 years and voila!

Ohh! did I mention while all this is going on ... just hire some hot orthodontic assistants to walk around in my office in scrubs?

Amen, the ortho we took our kid to wanted to put them on for 2 years now and then probably another 2yrs when she turns 16. He said the first set may or may not fix the issue. WTF? If it doesn't fix it, I shouldn't have to pay for it. He didn't like that remark.

I'm not happy with dentists right now... Just averted the Dental surgeon screwing up one of their mouth's forever. Because the regular dental assistant filled out the referral paperwork wrong on what tooth (baby tooth) needed to be extracted, they almost took out a baby tooth AND the tooth under it. Good thing the wife paid attention otherwise my kid would be without one canine permanently.

My oldest is going to be a snaggle tooth. Already is a bit. I keep hoping I run into an orthodontist with a passion for restoring a German car who is willing to trade.

Best way to get in to see me at the shop is to call or email Shannon and make an appointment.

Yep, getting ready to send my daughter in, and was supposed to send in my son already. Now the dentist says my daughter should go first because of an issue with crowding a tooth. $100 month for each kid for 2 years. insurance pays the rest. (mostly I hope)

I would rather trust used car salesman than physicians or dentists.
    Lowest echelon.

(no offense to physicians or dentists here)

thats generally because used car salesmen don't get sued for millions of dollars if they make a mistake and usually don't accrue 300k in loans to start their career.

What my dentist did, several years of Air force, great guy, top notch work. Refers only to the top notch orthodontics folks.
