My cousin has been battling cancer off and on since she was about 4. Due to the cancer and treatment, she was left slightly special needs. She has had multiple brain surgeries, had her thyroid removed because of tumors, multiple seizures, and many other issues throughout her short life. She has also gained quite a bit of weight and has been given the opportunity to win a special needs "Adaptive" bike. I would really appreciate it if you guys could help nominate her to receive one of these bikes. All you need to do is press the Nominate button in the link.

Just wondering? What is the cost of the bike? I would think we as members might be able to make that happen. Where as donating there just helps her enter a drawing.

Looks like they are about $750. If she doesnt win it, maybe we can consider that, depending on what everyone thinks. I would easily donate a large portion. I really do appreciate everyone doing this. Its amazing that all of us horrible, people hating, gun owners are willing to rally together to help so many people.

My advice and you can do what ever you want. But I think if the bike costs 750 and you can donate a good portion, that we can just start a fundraiser and just buy her the bike. As it is now, it seems to me that this company is asking for donations for a chance to win and perhaps skimming money off the top to pay for admin costs. I could be totally wrong. I just don't want to give money and then your loved one still has no bike. I would rather put some effort into making sure she got a bike.
