    Been messing with the 22 G on a bolt gun before I re-turn the barrel for an AR. The pic is of pre and fire formed brass. The bullet seated in the fire formed case is an 80 gr AMAX at mag length. Havent pulled the trigger on one yet but Qwikload has the Amax at just over 3000 fps from a 24" barrel.... cant find anything to complain about yet ?

    Point is shorter and fatter to allow longer bullets in an AR mag with good powder capacity?

    That is going to be sweet in a gas gun.
