optic for ar 10

I want to put something with a little magnification on my ar 10. Would love to get an ACOG, but would like to spend less than a grand. Is there something out there that would be like an ACOG, like a knock off of some kind? What other options do you all suggest

If you are thinking of something in the 4x range (like an acog), check out the Burris MTAC 1-4. $400 bucks of awesomeness.

My preferred optic for a AR-10 would differently be a variable. I'm a huge fan of Vortex Optics. My suggestion would be a Vortex PST 2.5-10x or the 4 -16 range if you need a little more power. If you find you don't need the illumination their HS, and HS-T line are essentially the same scope without the illumination. http://www.cameralandny.com/optics/v...iperpst2-10x32


Burris is also a fine scope company. But honestly if your not competing with your rifle, I'd leave the low power scopes to a AR-15
