    Default Yep. It's just Colorado.

This is something of a repost. I posted a similar thread a year or so ago. I just couldn't find it.

Anyhow, last time I was in the Sportsmans Warehouse off 84th they were really picked over and hardly had any ammo or reloading stuff. It's pretty much looked like that for years now.

So today I went to the Sportsmans Warehouse in Casper, Wyoming.

It looks nothing like the one up near my house. The shelves are full of primers, powder, and other reloading stuff. Plenty of ammo on hand too in just about any caliber you want.

It was nice to see thirty round AR mags just hanging on the racks as well. Hell, they even had four or five of the forty round Pmags on hand.

Seems it's just Colorado that is picked over constantly by people hoarding stuff or trying to resell on Armslist for a quick profit.

Or it could be that the population of the Denver Metro Area is roughly 50 times the population of Casper (and 5 times the population of the entire state of Wyoming)?

Yeah, went to Tucson a couple weeks ago and ammo was even on WalMart shelves. Small gun store my father in law goes to had to store some still in cases on the floor as he didn't have the shelf space for all of it. I did grab some .45 and .380 to bring home. No .22 LR though. People there pissed about that as much as people here.

I travel a lot in the summer and every where I go has a better ammo supply than here, Wyoming utah Idaho New Mexico Montana Texas. I don't know if we just have a lot of hoarders or the ammo manufactures are pissed that we passed gun control laws. Needless to say I stock up when I see it and bring it home.

No, we just have a lot of Fu*ked up people that did a bunch of stupid Sh*t that made the news. Columbine, Aurora Theater, were our biggest. So they label all of us as ummm not so stable gun toting rednecks who shouldn't have as much as the other states. After Columbine "Sportsman's Guide" put a restriction on knives that could be shipped here. If the blade was over 4 - 5" long no sales to CO. You look at it now. Since the High cap restriction and no sales of said HC mags foe CO. They will allow certain knife's IE over the 5" length to be shipped. So here ya go CO. we at SMG don't want to loose all of our sale to your state so we'll let you have the bigger knives. But no way hosay on mags!!!!!!

I was in Florida 2 weeks ago and they were just as picked over as we are if not more. I actually think we have more ammo on the shelves then they did.
