Default Looking for a safe mover or rigging company that services Windsor

I'm looking to purchase a second gun safe that is quite a bit heavier than the one I have now. Essentially, I need to know three things before I make the purchase:

    1. Can the stairs take the weight?
    2. How big can I go and still maneuver around the landing in my basement.
    3. What's the biggest safe they will move down steps.

One I have my eye on is 1600 lbs or so, but I don't want it to live in my garage, so it would be nice to know what is feasible before I spend my cash.

    Thanks!

To piggyback on this since it's getting semi close to time.

Any suggestions for movers that would have refrigerator dollies and just a couple to 4 big dudes? My 210g tank will need moving. Thick glass but still somewhat fragile. I'd have the truck, really just need the experienced labor and dolly since it was almost a disaster getting it into this place. (New place fortunately simple. )

Try this, and he can move a very large safe down stairs. And he is out of Greeley, but services NOCO.

I gave Chris at D&B a call. Very personable and helpful, but unfortunately, his large capacity safe mover is currently out of commission. He is going to try and get me a reference for a business acquaintance of his, but I will still take recommendations.

Chris is a stand up guy. I have used him in the past while working at various shops and he always has been a pleasure to do business with. My stairs help up a 700lb+ safe on dolly and the small pallet it is attached to. Wasn't easy but it can be done.

I used a guy named Clif when i move 3 years ago. If i recall, he was out of Fort Collins. The only contact info i have is his number: 970-217-3520.

I was happy with his work. He took it out of one basement and moved it into another basement. No problems. I think my safe is in the 600 pound range.

    'Nuther Opie011 vote.

I have had dealings with Duffy Crane & Hailing and Precision Industrial. Both do top notch work.

I'm assuming a 500-700lb aquarium would be ballpark similiar to a safe for them. Assuming they were willing to work on it, any idea ball park what kind of fee if I have the truck? (up out of a basement then up a couple steps into a room right off the front door in new house.)

    Talking $150 or much more?
