    Default Buffer Spring Question

I built up a second lower recently and took it to the range to run it (good to go). When I got home I pulled the buffer and spring from the original lower (which is now going off to get engraved) to put it the new lower. The buffer in my original lower is lightened a tad so I wanted that one in the new lower. When I had both springs out, I noticed the older one is a bit longer, about 1.5 inches or so. The new lower ran fine, locked back on an empty bolt, no FTE or anything. Just curious if this is common.

I've noticed some discrepancies in the length of the springs. If it works okay I wouldn't worry about it too much.

My Daniel defense and BCM lowers have shorter springs than the rock river stock set i bought recently.
